Egg Nog Nation Gives Back

The holidays are here along with all the special traditions and treats of the season. If eggnog is at the top of your shopping list- you’re in luck because we know how you can make your eggnog taste a little sweeter this holiday season. How? By becoming a part of Egg Nog Nation!

In 2013, The Dairy Farmers of Washington and Smith Brothers Farms joined together to establish the program, Egg Nog Nation, to not only increase the consumption of eggnog during the holidays but to get fresh, wholesome milk to the tables of families in need. For each quart of Smith Brothers Egg Nog sold, a quart of milk is donated to Food LifeLine, a food bank distributor. Thanks to this program, thousands of families have been able to incorporate milk into their holiday meals. Now through December 16, you can purchase Smith Brothers’ Farms Egg Nog to help eliminate hunger in our state. The best part? The eggnog will be delivered directly to your door!

Smith Brothers have been around for more than 95 years and it has always been a priority for them to be part of the communities that they serve. “Our philosophy is everyone deserves fresh milk and the ability to build healthy families through good nutrition. We are so proud that we have the opportunity to give back to our community in a way that ties in with our values.” Sean Flaherty, Public Relations & Marketing Manager at Smith Brothers, “Egg Nog Nation is a fun way to give people a reason to buy more eggnog.”
This year you can sip your eggnog with a smile knowing you helped others this holiday season.
